How to do it15271170_10154876664352652_469562067_o

  1. Get your hat. Cut off the strings on the top and trim the ones on the bottom. It’s not done in this picture yet, but get it done nonetheless to save you the hassle later.
  2. Have your hot glue gun ready and start gluing the tinsel garland on, starting from the bottom, spiraling up. Don’t worry about perfectly 15303877_10154876663982652_600226235_ocovering up the bottom where you trimmed/cut off the strings.Glue 2-3 inch section on at a time. You will run out of tinsel eventually so just start using the second tinsel garland you have. Cut it off once you reach the top.
  3. Measure around the base of your hat and cut a piece of garland that length. Now glue it on.Cover up any bald patches of your tree hat/hat tree with the remaining tinsel you have.
  4. Decorations: Whatever you want, attach with more hot glue.
